Iguassu Falls – Macuco Safari Boat Trip

Located within the Iguaçu National Park, the Macuco Safari has aroused the interest of ecologists from all over the world and is also one of the most requested tours by foreign tourists due to the exuberant fauna and flora, protected since 1938.
The tour starts on the Macuco trail, 3 km from the Falls. A jeep takes us in silence along a trail through the park, to appreciate the lush and well-preserved ecosystem, rich in birds, mammals and orchids.
From a clearing in the forest, we continue foot down a trail that passes the Macuco Waterfall. On the banks of the Iguazu River, we’ll start a 30-minute tour in semi-rigid boats, ideal for navigating this river. We will take this boat up to the Iguazu River gorge, arriving approximately 1 km from the Devil’s Throat, where the river forms the border between the national parks of Argentina and Brazil.

From there we have a unique vision of one of the Seven Wonders of the modern World. On the way back we are baptized under a shower of water from the Three Musketeer Falls.
