Tour starts with a visit to the colorful Ver-O-Peso market, near the docks , where you will find a fascinating display of produces , tropical fruits, fishes , handicrafts and religious items connected with the Macumba cult. These goods are brought to the market every morning by hundred of boats and canoes. From there you continue to the Basilica Our Lady of Nazareth which dates from the early 20th. Century, with it opulent interior. The tour’s last stop is the Emilio Goeldi museum which contains a rich botanical and zoological garden and an exhibit illustrating the flora and fauna of the Amazon, as well as a fine collection of indian pottery.
