Ecoturismo – Ilha Grande

Pick up at the hotel or airport and transfer from Rio de Janeiro to Mangaratiba or Angra dos Reis, in an air-conditioned vehicle, to board a regular ferry at Mangaratiba Pier to Vila do Abraão (duration approx. 1h30min). Arrival, reception at the pier by specialized guides and transfer (walking) to the chosen pousada. Reconnaissance tour of Vila do Abraão including the Lazareto Ruins, the Aqueduct Waterfall and Praia Preta, as well as showing the main restaurants, bars and diving agencies. Overnight at the pousada.

10:00 a.m. Regular departure by schooner from the pier in the direction of the Blue Lagoon, where you will find stunning spots that preserve the wild and natural environment. Stop between two islands. In the shallow part, in transparent blue waters, with a beautiful coral bottom, there are many colorful fish that feed on people's hands. All this makes the Blue Lagoon one of the most visited places on Ilha Grande. The tour then continues with a stop at Freguesia de Santana beach. There you will be able to see two beautiful beaches as well as the Church of Santana (1796). Freguesia de Santana was the first settlement on Ilha Grande. In the last century, it was the center of the island's economic development and was home to a large colony of enslaved people. Today it is an important historical site. Returning to the boat, we will visit Japariz Beach, with an optional stop for lunch (at clients' expense). Return at approximately 16:00. Overnight at the pousada.

Check out of the pousada and board the regular ferry to Angra dos Reis or Mangaratiba (approx. 1h 30min). Arrival in Angra dos Reis or Mangaratiba and transfer to the hotel in Rio de Janeiro in an air-conditioned vehicle.
