Iguassu Falls – Brazilian Side

The Iguaçu Falls , located in the Iguassu National Park, 28 km from the city. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. The falls are made up of 275 jumps that constitute the largest set of waterfalls in the world in terms of volume per second, with heights ranging from 40m to 80m and lined up in a “U” shape for a length of almost 4 km.
The main jumps are the Salto de Santa Maria and the Garganta do Diabo Falls. As the Iguazu River borders two territories, Brazil and Argentina, there are viewpoints in both countries. On the Brazilian side, a panoramic elevator leads to a viewpoint with a magnificent panoramic view of the falls; strategically built walkways and lookouts allow a better view of each jump.
To admire the Falls, visitors walk on an external walkway of 1 km and another of 800m, which advance over the waters of the Iguazu River, allowing them to see the main jumps.

This tour is completely different from that on the Argentine side. It is recommended that both be taken.
