Rafting Experience

Day 1 – Saturday – PALMAS
Arrival in Palmas, transfer from the airport to the Pousada dos Girassóis for the night.

Day 2 – Sunday – PALMAS / RANCHO GORGULHO (BLD)
After breakfast, we will start our expedition to the Jalapão. The first session will take 4 hours by road through unique landscapes to Rancho do Gorgulho (120 km on a paved road) and also on a dirt road. Stop for lunch during the day. Overnight camping.

Day 3 – Monday – RANCHO GORGULHO / JALAPÃO – FAZENDA DO VICENTE (BLD)
After breakfast, we start another journey. The journey takes approximately 5 hours and more on dirt roads and beautiful landscapes.
On the way, we’ll pass Morro da Catedral and stop for a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Sono River. Lunch (included) in São Félix. We’ll end the day at the Formiga waterfall. Camping at Fazenda do Vicente with dinner included.

Day 4 – Tuesday – JALAPÃO – CAMPING (BLD)
We’ll leave at 8:30 a.m. for the incredible Fervedouro – a spring with crystal-clear waters, where it’s impossible to submerge. We’ll continue on to the Mumbucas community, where handicrafts are made from golden grass – a very special type of grass. Stop for lunch (included). Transfer to the Jalapão dunes to enjoy the sunset. Then we’ll camp near the Rio Novo. Dinner (included) and overnight.

Day 5 – Wednesday – RAFTING – CAMPING (BLD)
First day of rafting (Lessons I) – On the first day we will have some rapids. Lunch stop at Os Crentes Beach. We’ll visit Lagoa Bonita with the chance to see animals and take a dip in the river. During the rafting, we’ll make a few incursions to visit some points of interest. At the end of the day, camp at Praia dos Cariocas Beach. Dinner (included) and overnight.

Day 6 – Thursday – RAFTING – CAMPING (BSD)
Second day of rafting (Lessons II / III) – On this day we will have many rapids with some calm parts, where we can swim and enjoy the beauty of the river. Snack stop (included). At the end of the day, camp at Praia dos Buritis. Dinner (included) and overnight.

Day 7 – Friday – RAFTING / PALMAS (BP)
Third day of rafting (Lessons III / IV) – On our last day of rafting, we’ll finish with big rapids, before visiting Cachoeira Velha. After a picnic lunch (included), we’ll head back to Palmas. Accommodation at Pousada dos Girassóis. Dinner not included.

Day 8 – Saturday – PALMAS / NEXT DESTINATION (B)
Transfer to Palmas airport for flight to next destination.
